Johnwill, I have also wondered that same thing. I keep hearing these weird things about some of the models and I know you should not stereotype. But, how did Elmo get himself in trouble stealing where he should have been doing well in porn?? I have seen him in lot of videos lately, (within the past year). He should have been doing okay financially. I have heard Diesel Washington say that he could make a few $thousands with one scene. Maybe he is telling the truth or not; I don't know. One thing I do know is that the guys should make sure they have something to fall back on in life, especially, once they have gone beyond 25 or so. Most of these guys start at the age of 18 or 19. One last thought, you mentioned some of the stars in porn such as Jovonnie, Cityboy, Breion, Rock, etc., I too wonder what kind of income did they make last year???? Just Curious

If I were to do some research into the realistics points that you both made, Castro/Supreme would be one model that I would use as one of my participants to find out how much does a successful porn model make throughout his career (from start to decline), and what determines porn success. I know that he is no longer with Cocodorm/Flavaworks and he is older now, but he did have a hott career. He still may be doing some porn stuff, I do not know. Sometimes a model has to move on from one porn company to another in order to restart or enrich their careers. If I were to conduct a research study on the male porn industry , Castro/Supreme and other former and presently successfully models (including some who did not fair so well) would be interviewed during the investigation. I would not leave no stone unturned until I have enough factual information that I deem ready enough to deliver to the public. Of course, I would use the utmost integrity and respect while gathering the appropriate information.

The purpose of the research study would be to help satisfy the curiosity of those who are are unfamiliar with the goings on in the male porn industry,

to help squash some of the stereotypes pertaining to the industry,

to reveal thruths about what makes porn hot and how one may prepare for its career path,

to shed light on the current and former pitfalls of porn modeling,

to review the importance of seeking an education (equivalence of a high school diploma, college, university, trade school...) while doing porn,

to visit all types of relationships that are important to models while doing porn,

and to gain an understanding of the significance of compentancy (skill or know-how) of the business and professional end of the industry...including the financial aspect,

Of course, I must stress that confidientiality is a must. So those who participate in the study would have to take on ficticious names...all the way around. As a matter of, secrecy is a must. I would only be looking for the information. The source of the information would remain private. Johnwill45, we don't have a reseach study or at least a current one that would satisfy your questions...so I hope Support may provide you with at least some answers to them:!:
